Nikolai Shodoev
N.A.Shodoev lives in the Altai Republic, Siberia. Drawing on otherwise disparate cultural fragments such as ancient Altai symbols, half-forgotten native words, myths, legends, museum artefacts and stories told by Altai shamans and clairvoyants, N.Shodoev writes on Altai spiritual wisdom.
In 1986 Shodoev opened the Museum to the Altai Spiritual Culture. Shodoev is the authour of three fictional works inspired by motifs from Altai legend and more than ninety articles on Altai spirituality.
The Altai people say that Shodoev carries sudurom, instinctive knowledge of the legendary book of Altai wisdom referred to in ancient epic tales.
